"I was struck by the clear sense of excitement about and respect for the work that had been built so quickly in the room. Moschitto even engaged the students in a brief, deep dive into devising their own pieces in small groups at the end of this exhilarating and informative session. These short pieces were fun, smart and revelatory! My students took away a clear, organized and lively understanding of the devising process and how to work effectively with a small group of collaborators - from the earliest gestation of an idea through embodied research and on to editing, sculpting and scripting.
